Key Technology Appoints David Johnsen as Product Marketing Manager
January 29, 2008 - Key Technology announces the promotion of David Johnsen to Product Marketing Manager for Processing Systems. Johnsen is responsible for planning and managing activities that support the development and sales of a group of products that includes Key's Turbo-Flo® steam blancher/cooker/pasteurizer, Farmco sizers and graders, Hi-Flo air cleaners, Veg-Mix(TM) blending systems, and other select processing solutions.
"Dave manages an important group of products from early, conceptual stages through the products' life cycles. He collaborates with Key's sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operational areas to help us identify and pursue new market opportunities and meet customers' needs worldwide," noted Randy Unterseher, Director of Sales Operations at Key. "Dave is ideally suited to take the lead here. He fully understands our technology as well as our customers and what they need from us."
Johnsen has been with Key for seven years and brings 18 years of industrial food processing industry experience to his new position. Prior to this promotion, he was a Product Specialist, Sales Engineer at Key. Previously, he was the Sales Manager for REYCO Systems and prior to that, he was the Northwest Regional Sales Manager for Cornell Pump Company. He holds a bachelor's degree from Portland State University. He is the Vice President of the 49ers, a service group of food processing equipment manufacturers. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) Fruit and Vegetable Advisory Council and in 2006, he was the Chairman of the Northwest Food Processors Association (NWFPA) Allied Industries Committee.
