Linear Demonstrates Latest Access Control and Gate Operator Products to Fencing Contractors at FENCETECH'08
CARLSBAD, Calif. (January 29, 2008) - Linear LLC, one of the market innovators in access control, gate operators and doors, and security systems, will display a diverse set of products that can help fencing contractors improve their profits at FENCETECH'08 in Las Vegas next week. Linear will display its latest access and control products, including its APeX gate operator controller, its new Linear Residential Actuator (LRA) drive, its new line of Plus telephone entry systems, and a new wireless access controller. Linear also will display its line of commercial and residential gate and door operating systems.
"FENCETECH'08 gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the exciting new products we have added to our entry systems line, said Larry Foisie, vice president of sales for Linear LLC. Highlighting the booth at this year's show will be the new APeX gate controller. The APeX is designed to work with all Linear branded gate operators and replaces the current circuit board with a new design that is simpler to install and sleeker. It's incredibly easy to program, with automatically resetting fuses (no dipswitches or potentiometers to set), and it can handle codes for up to 40 handheld transmitters. It also can be networked for dual-gate operation.
Linear will also use FENCETECH to kick off a promotion on the new APeX equipped gate operators. This promotion will include the SL slide gate and SW swing gate product series as well as the new model LRA residential swing gate operator.
Making its debut at FENCETECH is the Linear Residential Actuator (LRA), the first electro-mechanical linear drive system to use the new APeX gate controller. This new, easy-to-install screw actuator uses a 24-volt DC motor and was designed specifically for residential swing gates weighing up to 600 pounds. It can be powered by AC, or by solar power, for even greater installation flexibility.
Linear also will show its new AP-5 wireless access gate/door controller. This is a fully programmable controller that can be used for vehicular gates, pedestrian gates, security gates, doors, or any combination. The AP-5 is easy to program and is ideal for situations where you need to control more than one entry, such as a vehicular gate and a pedestrian gate.
Also on display will be Linear's new line of Plus telephone entry and access systems, the AE2000Plus, AE1000Plus, and AM3Plus. These new access controllers can be configured on site, or remotely using Linear's new AXNET software utility for Microsoft Windows. The new Plus line of telephone and access controllers is designed to be networked, giving installers and building managers an unprecedented level of installation flexibility and control from any location.
