Enclosure Management Capability AXIOMTEK offers case intrusion detection feature (optional). If any illegal user opens the upper case of the device, it will automatically make alert to MIS administrator. Otherwise, we adopt Active Management Technology (optional) in our NA devices; MIS administrator could remote boot/reset the system through internet.
LAN Bypass To prevent problems when the platform shuts down, power fail or OS/application program hangs up, the hardware platforms support two groups of LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. And, the platforms also support the LAN bypass micro code for different version of Linux environment. Customer can easily port the LAN bypass with their application program.
Powerful Storage and Solid Disk Module Some of log and proxy data needs to be restored. Our SMB NA platforms support SATA or IDE interface. Otherwise, some of platforms also support the RAID feature for data protection. Except the DiskonModule®, CompactFlash(TM) and hard drive, our SMB network appliances also support the SMBus EEPROM (optional) on board. Customers can install or upgrade their firmware through this.
Expansion Capability The SMB network security platforms support different type of expansion slots (PCI or PCI-X) for applications need to install various of peripheral cards, such as VPN encryption module, wireless module or another specify adapter card.
