Dorner Mfg. Corp.

Release date: September 23, 2007

Hartland, Wis., (September 23, 2007) -

When it comes to sanitary conveyor systems, no two applications are alike.

That's why Dorner Mfg. Corp. has engineered every conveyor series within its AquaPruf family of sanitary conveyors with enhanced controls and system capabilities to handle virtually any application.

These newly enhanced controls and system capabilities that include inspection, identification, sortation and label & marking positions Dorner to design a full-line comprehensive sanitary conveyor system to best meet the needs of its customers, while saving them time and money.

Inspection

Dorner can outfit any conveyor in its AquaPruf family with inspection systems, which are vital to all food and pharmaceutical processes. Additionally, Dorner engineering can integrate multiple inspection operations onto one conveyor and combine controls to create one system. Other inspection components include metal-free zones; reject systems, lockable reject bins and system interfaces.

Identification

Dorner knows that food automation requires the ability to automatically identify various characteristics of food products and their packaging. Dorner engineering can install identification systems onto its AquaPruf platforms to handle single product, carton, case and pallet applications for routing, labeling and information processing. Furthermore, with Dorner's in-house control resources, it offers customers system optimization throughout the entire process.

Sortation

Conveyor controls, such as hardware and software used for starting, stopping and monitoring product flow is key to an effective sortation system. Dorner engineering can design sortation solutions for sorting, routing and merging applications that best fit in its customers' facilities. And when required, sortation systems will be assembled, tested and accepted before leaving Dorner's facility. On-site installation and start up are also available from Dorner.

Label & Marking

Dorner is able to integrate its own labelers, or customer-specified labeler equipment onto its AquaPruf platform. Dorner has developed a number of labeler modules that can stand alone, or be integrated into a larger system to improve overall performance and throughput.

About AquaPruf

The AquaPruf family of sanitary conveyors is engineered for fast and effective sanitation in the most demanding environments, including ready-to-eat foods, raw protein (meat, poultry and fish), dairy and other environments with high-pressure sanitation requirements. Engineered to have the fastest cleaning times in the industry, AquaPruf conveyors can be disassembled for cleaning, without tools, in only 30 seconds. Using AquaPruf sanitary conveyors with enhanced controls and system capabilities means less equipment downtime for cleaning and a higher return-on-investment for customers.
