National Adhesives' New ULTRA-MELT® Adhesive Makes for Cleaner Packaging Operations
LAS VEGAS, October 15, 2007 - National Adhesives (Booth 323, Central Hall) is introducing ULTRA-MELT® 34-772C, the newest addition in its ULTRA-MELT product line for packaging applications, here at the Pack Expo.
ULTRA-MELT 34-772C is a "prime" grade 350°F hot melt that provides superior tack, speed and adhesion, excellent heat resistance and reduced odor. It also offers exceptional non-stringing and release-from-metal qualities, which enable quicker clean-up of equipment rails.
Because of their high-stability formulations, all ULTRA-MELT adhesives are clean running and produce minimum char. The adhesives reduce production line downtime caused by charring and clogged nozzles. In addition, ULTRA-MELT adhesives provide top-end heat resistance that some applications require.
The ULTRA-MELT family of packaging adhesives includes ULTRA-MELT 34-614C, a "premium" grade hot melt that delivers the best heat resistance of any of the ULTRA-MELT adhesives, along with fast set speed, excellent adhesion, reduced odor, exceptional non-stringing and excellent release-from- metal qualities. ULTRA MELT 34-4622, the "traditional" grade hot melt provides excellent adhesion to difficult board stock, including recycled and high performance liners. ULTRA-MELT 34-2103 is the "freezer-grade" hot melt for applications in which low-temperature adhesion and performance is required.
