National Adhesives Introduces EASY-PAC(TM) X Adhesive for Difficult Carton and Case Stocks
BRIDGEWATER, NJ, October 15, 2007 - National Adhesives has introduced EASY-PAC(TM) X 34-275 adhesive for case and carton sealing operations that require excellent adhesion on difficult carton and corrugated stock.
The highest performer in the EASY-PAC X product line, EASY-PAC X 34-275 also works well for freezer grade packaging applications. The adhesive has an operating temperature of 275° F and provides robust adhesive performance within a wide operating window. The product, which is currently being used with excellent results by a baked goods co-packager for a major consumer goods manufacturer, is only available as part of the EASY-PAC Package Sealing Solution.
The EASY-PAC Package Sealing Solution is a complete system that National Adhesives has developed for case and carton sealing applications in food processing, beverage, personal care, household, industrial-goods and consumer electronics industries. The EASY-PAC Package Sealing Solution comes with a hot melt dispensing unit that includes an integrated Autofill vacuum feeder, new hoses, nozzles and modules and a convenient hot melt storage bin.
The EASY-PAC Package Sealing Solution is designed to eliminate the char-related problems packaging line operators experience with traditional 350° F hot melt adhesives and their application equipment. Char, the largest single cause of adhesive application malfunctions, is the substance produced by overheated hot melt or outside contaminants in the melt unit, which can clog filters, hoses and nozzles and bring packaging lines to a halt.
