IDI Composites International Release date: October 9, 2007
Noblesville, IN (USA), October 9, 2007 - IDI Composites International, the premier global formulator and manufacturer of thermoset molding compounds, announces the appointment of Sabareesh Indrasenan to the position of Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Mr. Indrasenan will design and optimize advanced manufacturing processes for bulk molding compound (BMC) production at the company's headquarters in Noblesville, Indiana.
As Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Mr. Indrasenan"s responsibilities include designing and implementing manufacturing system improvements, enhancing process flow and facility layout to maximize production capabilities, and ensuring attainment of Operational Excellence key metrics. In addition, he will hold responsibility for optimization of BMC mixing processes, ensuring operator safety while delivering consistent product quality to customers. Mr. Indrasenan will also work in conjunction with the IDI Quality and Manufacturing team to ensure compliance to ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. Indrasenan was Facilities Engineer/Maintenance Manager at Norplex-Micarta, Inc., a division of IDI Composites International that manufactures high performance thermoset composites. Previously at Norplex-Micarta, Mr. Indrasenan also worked as Process Engineer, responsible for productivity and project management improvements. He also served as Quotations Manager and Scheduling Specialist at Industrial Dielectrics, Inc.
A graduate of the ESCP-EAP European School of Management in Paris, France, Mr. Indrasenan holds an MBA in Finance. He is also an alum of the College of Engineering, Guindy, in Chennai, India, and Purdue University, in Indiana, USA, where he holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering, respectively. He is currently certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.
