Hennig Opens New Facility for Enclosure Manufacturing

Will serve power generator and other OEM enclosure customers
Capitalizing on the resident strengths of its longtime machine tool enclosure and protection device manufacturing skills, Hennig, Inc. proudly announces the opening of its new location in Rockford, Illinois for the design, engineering and fabrication of enclosures and fuel tanks for power generators and other heavy-duty OEM markets.
This new building is a supplementary site to the company's main facility in Machesney Park, Illinois, where Hennig will continue to utilize its laser cutting, waterjet cutting, powder coating/ paint line, metal bending machinery and other primary manufacturing equipment to produce the enclosure sections. These enclosure and fuel tank components will then undergo final assembly with the OEM generators at the new facility.
This new Hennig Enclosure Systems facility occupies over 16,000 sq. ft. of plant area and is located at 2112 12th Street in Rockford, Illinios, near a number of interstates and the intermodal shipping facility in Rochelle, Illinois.
As the company's Sales Manager for Generator Components, Mike Kinney, explains, "This expansion to a new and dedicated facility will allow us to maintain the highest quality levels on these critical power generator enclosures, as well as other strategic enclosure business we seek. Just as important, it will enable us to remain ahead of the competition with streamlined efficiencies, resulting in faster delivery times. As a collateral benefit, our machine tool enclosure business will also realize improved turn times." Hennig Enclosure Systems is certified to offer UL-142 fuel tanks, which includes secondary containment tanks, open top dikes, closed top dikes, free-standing and sub-base day tanks.
