RLE Technologies

Release date: April 18, 2007

RLE Introduces a Plug and Play Monitoring Solution for Mission-Critical Facilities

Improving uptime of critical equipment is now affordable with the Falcon F110

FORT COLLINS, CO | 18 Apr 2007 - RLE Technologies today announced its release of the first of six new products to be released by July 2007. The Falcon F110 is the newest addition to their Falcon line of monitoring systems. This eleven-channel environmental monitoring system accepts up to three plug and play (PnP) temperature/humidity sensors and eight dry contact inputs. The F110 allows for advanced notification of alarms via email, SMS, and SNMP traps at specified temperature and humidity thresholds or dry contact alarms. Anywhere there is an Ethernet connection, the F110 can be used to monitor critical equipment via its web-enabled interface.

"Today it is generally recognized that contingency planning is crucial. A major goal of this planning is to mitigate risks of interruptions, outages, and facility downtime," said Mike Orlich, president of RLE Technologies. This was evident last month at the Data Center World 2007 Expo in Las Vegas where the F110 was showcased. Attended by more than 1,000 data center professionals from organizations, corporations and academic institutions, the show's conferences had a common theme: contingency planning and protecting critical infrastructure to mitigate downtime.

As organizations look to meet the goals of their contingency plans, RLE offers yet another solution that supports these goals with the F110. This real-time, stand alone appliance also supports facility wide convergence with both Building Management Systems (BMS) and Network Management Systems (NMS) through industry standard protocols - SNMP, and Modbus over TCP/IP.

The F110 is a cost-effective solution for facilities that want to track important factors and notify key personnel of potential problems, in turn improving the uptime of important equipment. The F110 is available now.
