XML Interface Opens New Doors for Customers to Integrate Opportunity and Past Performance Data in Privia® Bid Management System

STERLING, Va., May 23 -- The power of XML-based data leveraging is coming to the world of government contracting bids. Synchris(TM), Inc., the leading provider of bid lifecycle management software for government contractors, today announced the release of its XML Import/Export interface for Privia®, allowing customers to further leverage existing technology investments and data sources.

The new XML-based functionality enables the management of data between Privia and other business applications, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and eases the burden of capturing and managing critical information, such as past performance for teaming partners.

Annie Eissler, vice president of product marketing at Synchris, said: "Harnessing the power of XML for government contract bidders is a major step forward for Synchris. Now, our customers can take full advantage of Privia's power more quickly and efficiently by using our XML Import/Export interface. Easy import of opportunity data from existing CRM tools and past performance data from teaming partners ensures that the information is on hand when you need it and where you need it during the bid lifecycle. Plus, this new functionality expands the types of data our customers can import into or export out of their Privia system."

Government contractors leverage massive amounts of data throughout the bid lifecycle and are often challenged by the need to reduce manual data entry and speed up access to information for decision-making and business performance analysis. Privia customers are now able to close this gap through an XML interface that allows easy import and export of data between Privia and other applications including opportunity data with CRM tools, as well as past performance and cost management data.

Privia's XML Import/Export interface is included in version 4.3 of Privia, the only out-of-the-box solution available to government contractors for managing task order responses issued under IDIQ contracts and solicitations across multiple teammates, and capturing and managing past performance data for use in the bid team selection process.
