New Line of Miller® Arc-Rated Fall Protection Products Meets Stringent ASTM F887-05 Arc-Flash Standards
Designed to protect workers from electric arc-flash and arc-blast exposure when working at heights or in confined space applications near energized electrical sources.
Franklin, PA - Striving to manufacture the safest and most comfortable fall protection equipment, world leader Bacou-Dalloz introduces a new line of Miller® Arc-Rated Fall Protection Products.
Featuring the innovative Miller Revolution(TM) Harness technology, the specially-designed arc-rated harnesses are available with unique DualTech(TM) webbing engineered with permanent fire retardant properties. A Kevlar® web loop on the harness back pad allows for a "metal-less" connection when used with a Kevlar® shock-absorbing lanyard with a choke-off loop. Leather insulators under all metal hardware offer additional protection. The modular attachment design also provides connection points for a durable, oil-tanned leather utility bag with multiple compartments.
The new line of arc-rated harnesses is available with webbing options: o Kevlar®/Nomex® Webbing DualTech - rugged, black Kevlar outside and gray Nomex inside provide superior comfort and durability in harsh working environments. o Kevlar® Non-Stretch Webbing - strong and durable rugged, non-stretch webbing provides superior comfort and durability in harsh working environments.
A complete line of arc-rated shock-absorbing lanyards (single and double legged models) and cross-arm anchorage straps are also available. All Miller fall protection products meet applicable OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements.
