65-Year-Old New Jersey Company Still Innovating After All These Years

Englewood, New Jersey, USA - APM HEXSEAL announces a series of patents pending on full and half toggle boots that avoid unintentionally tripping a sensitive switch into the on/off position. Apparently there is an increasing number of switches that when covered with a switch cover can turn off due to the mere physics of being covered by the wrong type cover. APM uses low durometer rubber in many cases to guard against this tendency. However, there are an increasing number of switches where this strategy alone is not sufficient, and we envision our Bellows Series as very able to combat this problem.

We have developed another new product (part number 60065) which joins our hugely successful seal bushing line. This part seals the panels of smaller diameter sealed switches and again demonstrates our innovative bent. APM's SEELOC® washer line is one of our fastest growing lines. We are now working on a line of lighter weight aluminum SEELOC® washers in a situation where many of our parts are to be used and weight is an issue. Finally, we are developing more products to further round out our metric boot line. A whole lot of innovating going on!

APM HEXSEAL patented the original circuit breaker seal and associated electromechanical switch sealing boots over 60 years ago. They are used extensively by the military, marine, industrial, construction and commercial industries around the world.
