Parkinson Technologies

Release date: May 28, 2009

Parkinson Technologies has significantly expanded their Internet presence through a program with Chemidex LLC (www.chemidex.com), a leading search engine in the chemical and life science industries.

Known for its online 'cyber-library' ('cybrary'), Chemidex acts as a connection between technical personnel at product manufacturing companies with technical documents, sales and support personnel at product manufacturing companies with technical documents, sales and support personnel at raw material, machinery and equipment suppliers. Use of the 'cybrary' can dramatically reduce a manufacturers time to locate information on materials and machinery, and simultaneously improves the speed and quality of the suppliers' response to an inquiry.

"We are always looking for better ways to get our company's message in front of potential customers," said Stephen Montalto, Parkinson Technologies' Director of Sales and Marketing. "The Internet is the most popular place for companies worldwide to research and find information, and Chemidex provides a unique service that is designed specifically for our industry."

Chemidex recently e-mailed a 'spotlight' on Parkinson Technologies to its entire Plastics and Elastomers membership base, which includes almost 3,200 registered members in North America, Europe and Asia. "This gives us a way to send a targeted message directly to companies that we know are interested in our products," said Jill DaPonte, Marketing Specialist at Parkinson. "It provides us with qualified leads, increases our online presence, and enhances our performance in the leading Internet search engines all at the same time."
