American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
People on the Move spotlights trailblazers in standardization, highlighting their latest achievements, advancements, and contributions to the standards community.
NSF International, an ANSI member and accredited standards developer, has named Elizabeth A. Jones vice president of marketing. In her new role, Ms. Jones will oversee the organization's corporate marketing and branding, communications and regulatory affairs. She will also expand multi-channel marketing for both business and consumer markets.
Ms. Jones spent the past nine years as the vice president of communications for Quicken Loans Inc., and for Rock Venture. In her former assignments she was vice president of college relations and institutional marketing at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. She also served as senior public relations administrator for Alticor.
Ms. Jones retired from the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve with the rank of Captain (O-6) in March 2008, after twenty-three years of service. Most recently she worked for the Press Operations Directorate in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Among various assignments, she served as a national vice president of the Naval Reserve Association.
Ms. Jones received her master's degree in business administration from New Hampshire College in Manchester, NH, and her BA in marketing and management from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN.
