Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc. Release date: May 11, 2009
Little Neck, New York, May 11, 2009 -- Leviton Manufacturing Company, North America's leading producer of electrical and electronic wiring devices today announces the acquisition of East Coast Electrical Services, Inc., the Miami-based provider of the EZE-Rough System(TM).
"With this acquisition we continue to broaden our offering of time and labor saving solutions for the electrical industry," stated Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton's Chief Operating Officer. "This suite includes innovative products, programs and services such as leaded switches & receptacles, our award winning Lev-LokŪ devices, Cheetah technology, our fast reaction Make-to-Order program, our recently launched PowerMount(TM) system and now EZE-Rough," Larizadeh added.
"As the EZE-Rough system continues to grow and evolve, we are proud to join Leviton," stated Jack Reeve, CEO and founder of EZE-Rough. "We can now better serve our clients with Leviton's logistics capabilities as well as reach a new set of customers in cooperation with Leviton's nationwide sales and distribution network." East Coast Electrical Systems, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary that is part of Leviton's Commercial/Industrial business.
