Woonsocket, RI (April 3, 2009) . . . A Parkinson Technologies Shaftless Unwind and Center Rewinder recently purchased and installed by a leading fiber glass manufacturer will provide the ability to splice, slit, and rewind up to 65 mil- thick fiberglass reinforcement mat, in 75 inch-wide rolls, 92 inches in diameter, at winding tensions up to 15 pli, as fast as 1500 feet-per-minute. Maximum roll weight is 3,500 pounds.
The supplier (name withheld by request) purchased the Parkinson slitter-rewinder because of its commitment to quality.
