Allentown, Pa. (October 2, 2008) -- Recognizing his commitment to business excellence and community service, the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal awarded Stanley Engineered Storage Solutions President and General Manager Jim Cannon with its Executive Spotlight Award.
Established in 2007, Stanley Engineered Storage Solutions oversees operations of Stanley Vidmar, based in Allentown, Pa., and Stanley InnerSpace, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The Executive Spotlight Awards were presented on Wednesday, October 1, at the Business Expo 2008 at the Allentown Fairgrounds AgriPlex Annex.
Under Cannon's leadership, Vidmar's revenue has increased by more than 100 percent and has seen a continuous progression of year-over-year growth. Cannon also led acquisition efforts of InnerSpace Corporation, helping to diversify storage solutions into the healthcare industry, ensuring Stanley Engineered Storage Solutions' continual growth.
Cannon has also championed Vidmar's charitable efforts. The company has donated storage cabinets to local municipalities' fire, police, and water departments and directly supported employees who participate in events such as the regional Women's 5K Classic and the Bike MS event. Vidmar also focuses a majority of its charitable resources to supporting the U.S. military nationally and locally through the Pennsylvania National Guard.
