Incon

Release date: December 12, 2008

Batavia, IL, December 12, 2008 -GIG Karasek has developed the POWERFILM Rotor Technology to dramatically increase performance for Wiped Film Evaporator, Short Path Evaporator, Thin Film Evaporator, or Vacuum Molecular Distillation Processes at lower capital investment. This technology is available immediately with every InCon Processing and GIG Karasek System. At InformExUSA 2009 InCon will introduce this technology to clients in Booth 813.

In the GIG Karasek Molecular Distillation, Short Path Evaporation, Thin Film Evaporation, and Wiped Film Evaporation Systems, POWERFILM Rotor System uses a proprietary technology that optimally adjusts performance depending upon the product characteristics. In side by side tests against a competitor's system, the process capacity was increased by 27%. More important 96% of the impurity level in the competitor's best product was eliminated simply by replacing with POWERFILM Rotor Technology. This dramatic performance increased the client's profit margin due to a smaller Evaporator. They offered a much higher quality product, which increased profit margin.

In some cases, POWERFILM Rotor Technology may also be retrofitted into non-GIG Karasek Wiped Film, Thin Film, and Short Path Evaporators, greatly extending investment life in these underperforming assets. InCon is exploring this enhanced ROI program with a number of selected clients.

In their Batavia, IL Manufacturing and Technology Center, InCon Processing develops, pilot tests, and contract manufactures using High Vacuum Molecular Distillation Technology and also fabricates, installs and starts up commercial plants using the GIG Karasek Technology. InCon has developed a core competency around these processes: Omega 3 Fish Oil Concentration, High Melt Point Wax Distillation, and Polymer, Epoxy, and Silicone Monomer Purification. InCon also specializes in Nutritional and Natural Compounds and Kosher Processing.
