AIA elects officers, Board of Governors for 2009.


December 10, 2008 - AIA Board of Governors has elected Robert J. Stevens of Lockheed Martin Corporation to serve as chairman for 2009 and Scott C. Donnelly, EVP and CEO of Textron Inc., as vice chairman. Marion C. Blakey was elected as AIA's president and CEO, while Ginette C. Colot was chosen as secretary-treasurer. AIA Elects Officers, Board of Governors for 2009

Arlington, Va. - The Aerospace Industries Association Board of Governors has elected Robert J. Stevens of Lockheed Martin Corporation to serve as its chairman for 2009.

Stevens, Lockheed Martin's chairman, president and chief executive officer, succeeds Clayton M. Jones, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Rockwell Collins, in the post. Scott C. Donnelly, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Textron Inc., was elected AIA's vice chairman.

The board elected Marion C. Blakey as AIA's president and chief executive officer as well as AIA's Ginette C. Colot as secretary-treasurer.
