Hobart Brothers Co.

Release date: November 20, 2008

TROY, Ohio. November 20, 2008-As a resource to support its complete line of HobartŪ and Tri-MarkŪ brands of low alloy filler metals, Hobart Brothers now offers its new Low Alloy Product catalog. The catalog features valuable information on the company's low alloy stick electrodes and solid, flux-cored and metal-cored wires, all of which typically provide over 80,000 psi ultimate tensile strength and have been designed specifically for welding on high-strength materials, weathering steels, materials prone to high heat or corrosion, and other similar applications.

Along with step-by-step explanations of AWS (American Welding Society) classifications for low alloy filler metals, the new catalog also features a Low Alloy Master List to help ease product selection. The Master List includes standard low alloy product classifications (A through W) and descriptions, along with the name of the corresponding Hobart Brothers filler metals (stick electrode and welding wires) for each of those classifications.

To assist further with the filler metal selection process, Hobart Brothers has organized the entire catalog according to low alloy product classification, and provides examples of common applications for the filler metals within each specific section.

Other important information includes individual Hobart Brothers product descriptions, recommended operating parameters, available packaging, competitive comparisons, and product conformances and approvals.

To receive a copy of the catalog by mail, call 937.332.4000, fax 937.332.5700 or write to Hobart Brothers, 101 Trade Square East, Troy, OH 45373.
