(Dixon, IL, October 29, 2008)- The Ideal and Plews/Edelmann divisions of Tomkins Industrial & Automotive each received awards for supply chain technology innovation from National Pronto during its Fall Shareholder's Conference and Expo in San Diego, CA, on October 1 through 3.
National Pronto honored the companies for supporting their DX program, a data warehouse, electronic purchase order and invoice delivery utility. Both Ideal and Plews/Edelmann worked with the organization and supported their efforts to provide product information and pricing to the organization's membership.

"We are honored by National Pronto's recognition of our efforts to ensure that its members don't miss a sale." National Pronto Association is a shareholder owned organization headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Pronto was formed in 1979 and is a leading Program distribution group with over one billion in sales with a focus on marketing, technology and buying. Pronto has 80 Shareholders with 144 distribution center locations.
