Azalea Networks, Inc.

Release date: November 12, 2008

Wireless mesh network routing solutions provider expands its global reseller network

Milpitas, California - November 12, 2008 - Azalea Networks, a leading innovator in wireless network equipment and technology, today announced an agreement with Leapa Limited of Hong Kong. Leapa is a provider of next-generation networking products and solutions for industrial enterprises and municipal applications. The relationship further extends Azalea's international reseller efforts throughout Asia.

"At Leapa, we select only the best-of-breed products to help our clients make the most of today's wireless technology," said Robert Lo, director and CEO of Leapa. "Azalea's patented wireless routing solution allows us to provide the benefits of high-throughput voice, video, and data with lowest cost of ownership," he added. Azalea's technology provides municipalities, public safety applications, oil and gas operations, shipping ports, distribution centers, and business and education campuses with the benefits of turn-key wireless solutions. Azalea's technology offers the ability to expand, grow or modify a network as needs change. The "intelligent" characteristics of Azalea's network routing technology are inherent in its ability to deliver peer-to-peer routing across the entire network while enabling network management from the host to the client. Azalea's solution also enhances its wireless network's integration with other wireless and wired networks, including the Internet, enterprise networks, or service provider infrastructure, adding flexibility for the wireless network operator.

"Azalea will support Leapa's efforts to offer innovative wireless broadband solutions, from cargo terminals to corporate campuses to hotels, by providing products, expertise, and support to meet today's high-throughput, reliability, and scalability requirements," reported Rake Jiang, Azalea vice president and general manager, International Markets and Global Strategic Alliances.
