The ChemQuest Group, Inc.

Release date: November 3, 2008

Cincinnati, OH, November 3, 2008 - The ChemQuest Group, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has finalized the course schedule for the remainder of 2008 and for all of 2009. The next class of the North American Adhesive Bonding Professional (NAABP) training course is set for December 8-12, 2008 in Greensboro, NC at the North Carolina A&T State University. Participants who will benefit most from this training will be engineers, production supervisors, chemists/technicians, technical sales/service reps, etc. who come from such disciplines as process/material engineering, sales & marketing, product development and bonding operations/manufacturing.

In 2009, the NAABP course will be offered in the following cities:

March 16-20, 2009 Atlanta, GA

August 17-21, 2009 St. Paul, MN

November 9-13, 2009 Greensboro, NC

The NAABP course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of adhesive bonding technology. During the 5 days of lab and classroom instruction, attendees will gain a full understanding of all of the major adhesive chemistries and the distinctive features of adhesive bonding. More importantly, participants have been able to go back to their operations with a solid understanding of how bonding should work and with a problem-solving methodology to address issues when things are not working as they should.

Since the development of these courses in 1994 by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Material Science (Bremen, Germany), over 2200 people from all over Europe have been trained. The requirements on modern-day products and components are becoming increasingly crucial. Adhesive bonding technology is therefore assuming an ever more important position in global industrial production. To assure maximum performance and reliability, critical bonding applications require trained adhesive bonding professionals! Attendees will get trained through a state-of-the-art curriculum that is internationally recognized and harmonized - which is particularly important for companies with bonding operations in both North America and Europe, as it establishes a common understanding and methodology.

ChemQuest is a strategic management consulting firm that has been a respected source of information pertaining to the adhesives and sealants markets since 1980. It has continually monitored the changes in market sizes, market trends, technology trends, raw material trends and the emergence of growth opportunities in these complex fragmented industries. In addition to strategy development, market analysis and mergers & acquisitions, ChemQuest is now expanding its services to offer this training course to the North American adhesives and sealants market.
