550-Watt Ultrasonic Cell Disruptors
Fullerton, CA – The Sonifier® SFX550 Cell Disruptor from Branson processes samples from 0.2 mL to 1,000 mL using 550 watts of power (20kHz). Users may store up to 20 parameter programs, as well as control pulse rate and type, time, temperature and amplitude for greater precision and repeatability. A wide range of standard-sized tips, probes and horns may be used to process an assortment of high-volume sample types (including hazardous).
The digital display allows push-button navigation and entry of processing parameters. Users can also track the cycles' progress and control the SFX550's amplitude from 10% to 100%. A microtip operation mode extends the microtip lifetime by 70%. Heat-sensitive samples can be regulated using programmed settings and an optional temperature probe.
The SFX550 includes a power supply, converter and 0.5-inch disruptor horn. Other options include a stand, acoustic enclosure to dampen noise, and a specialized glass cooling cell for efficient heat exchange.
