For Industrial Indexing's most recent enclosure need, Buckeye Shapeform suggested a re-design of an existing product, the Emerald EMC-2000, in order to more efficiently and attractively package its components. Buckeye Shapeform utilized its Plastic Enclosure Technology (PET), which is the highest quality, most flexible plastic enclosure that enables rapid and frequent design changes without the time constraints of molds and traditional tooling.
The PET's flexibility allowed Buckeye to create a unique size, multi-unit enclosure with a metal rear mounting panel, emerald green ABS material, EMI cooper-impregnated shielding paint, self-clinching inserts and card gauges. Through Buckeye Shapeform's graphic abilities, the product model number was also stamped on the rear panel to ensure simple identification. Best of all, Buckeye Shapeform was able to deliver this highly customized product within the expected timeframe and budget.
