STERIS Isomedix Services is pleased to offer weekly Ethylene Oxide Engineering Runs at our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. This unique program provides Customers nationwide with a simple, cost-effective method to evaluate the effects of the EO process on product components or packaging, and is ideal for material compatibility studies and new product development.
Engineering runs are performed weekly, and product is released for shipping the day after processing. While a sterile claim cannot be made, the engineering runs are executed using a four hour dwell and approximate 10.5 hour total cycle time, exposing product samples to a generic EO cycle. "This service provides medical product engineers with a fast, affordable and accurate tool to study the effects of the EO process at the earliest stages of product development," comments Kevin Cmiel, STERIS Isomedix Services Marketing Manager.
