Harleysville, PA, June 30, 2008 - Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE: MPR), announced today that the Company has been added to the broad-market Russell® 3000 Index as of the close of business on June 27, 2008.

Membership in the Russell® 3000 Index, which is for a period of one year, means Met-Pro Corporation will automatically be included within the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Russell establishes membership for its equity indexes mainly by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
The Russell Indexes are used by institutional investors as well investment managers for index funds as well as the scale for both active and passive investment strategies.
