Press Release

ART Technologies, Inc.

Release date: June 27, 2008

ART Technologies Embraces Growth Strategies in Technology and Inspection Areas

June 27, 2008 - ART Technologies of Hamilton, OH, recently purchased a Micro-Vu Vertex optical measurement system. This machine has the ability to optically measure part features in 3 dimensions and can check any shape or profile quickly and accurately, without contact. The Micro-Vu Vertex not only adds increased capability to ART's Quality department, it also decreases the time required to measure complex and multiple features on stampings. ART Technologies recently had a part inspection requirement for checking an ever changing involute spline, a difficult and time consuming task to perform manually. The Micro-Vu easily checked all features of the entire part 20 times faster than was previously done manually.

Quality assurance is critical for ART Technologies and our customers. It all starts with well defined and manageable quality processes. We work closely with our customers from the start of the project, identifying critical part characteristics they need. Then we utilize the systems defined by our TS16949 approved management process to ensure that all of our employees have the tools that they need to deliver the best possible sourcing experience to our customers. From tool design to quality process development, to product validation and testing, and all the way throughout the life of the product, all of our highly trained employees are committed to their role in producing products that are second to none.
