After recently doubling the floor space and number of machines dedicated to contract welding in our facility in Enfield, CT, PTR-Precision Technologies has grown again! We have opened a new 7,500 sq-ft satellite contract welding facility in Spartanburg, SC.
The facility has two CNC-controlled high voltage, high vacuum electron beam welding systems with up to 25 kW power capability for contract welding and application development. These supplement the many high voltage, low voltage and nonvacuum electron beam welding systems currently in operation in PTR Enfield's contract welding and application development facility.
The Enfield facility will continue to be the only EB contract welding facility in the US with:
--Multi-axis (minimum 4) CNC contouring control on every machine
--60 kV, 150 kV and 175 kV contracting and development capability
--High vacuum, partial vacuum and nonvacuum contract and development capability
--Beam power capability up to 40 kW
The new Spartanburg facility is operational with the capability to provide outstanding service and quick turnaround times to customers in the Southeastern United States
