Pentair Industrial Release date: June 9, 2008
SHEBOYGAN, WI - Pentair Industrial, the industrial filtration division of Pentair Inc. launched its website on Monday, May 12. Pentairindustrial.com offers information about Pentair Industrial product line and provides detailed information about product offerings. The website was designed and developed by Du4Webtech, the interactive division of DuFour Advertising.
There were several big challenges in designing the website. "Organizing and presenting Pentair Industrial's vast product line, while providing product detail in an easy to understand manner was the biggest project challenge" said Pre Priyadarshane, of Du4WEBTECH.
Pentair needed the website to be updatable without the use of any programming language. To meet this challenge, the Du4WEBTECH team implemented an easy-to-use content management system; making updates as easy as typing a Word document. "Employees of Pentair can sign into the self-administration program, click on the section of the site that needs updating and make any changes to the site," Priyadarshane said. "It's an extremely easy process," he added.
Shelly Johnson, Marketing Communications Manager of Pentair Industrial agrees stating, "In launching a new business unit, we had an incredible amount of product information to organize and share with our customers. Pre Priyadarshane and the Du4WEBTECH team not only helped us get our arms around it, they delivered a web site that is user-friendly and portrays brand and product strength. They also had many great recommendations on driving traffic to the site. We will certainly work with them on other web projects."
Industrial filtration solutions are the sole focus at Pentair Industrial. Their industrial filtration products include components for food & beverage, fuel & chemical, power generation, municipal, and medical & pharmaceutical sectors, to name a few.
