IRVING, TX, April 26, 2007 - Abloy Security, Inc. recently expanded the product offerings of the SHUT-OUTŪ Series. This series now includes SHUT-OUTŪ Hasps, SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Locks, the SHUT-OUTŪ Shield and the SHUT-OUTŪ Safeguard. The SHUT-OUTŪ series of products has been developed to provide a complete vending security solution to secure asset protection.
The SHUT-OUTŪ line includes general purpose hasps and puck locks as well as products specifically designed for the vending and bottling industry. All products are built to resist physical attack and environmental conditions.
Four hasp models are included in the SHUT-OUTŪ Series. These hasps are constructed of cold-rolled steel providing strength and environmental durability. They are also designed to allow for quick and easy installation. All hasp models are packaged with all necessary mounting hardware.
The SHUT-OUTŪ Padlock Hasp Offset (SO400) is designed specifically to mount to vending machine doors. Electro-plated with a black finish to visually blend in with the physical appearance of vending machine doors while restricting prying and exterior access to the bill accepter. The cover portion of the padlock hasp protects the shackle and lock body, while allowing authorized personnel easy access. The SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Hasp Offset (SO420) is designed specifically to mount to vending machine doors. Electro-plated with a black finish to visually blend in with the physical appearance of vending machine doors while restricting prying and exterior access to the bill accepter. This hasp pairs with either model of the SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Locks.
The SHUT-OUTŪ Padlock Hasp In-line (SO410) is designed for use in a flush mount application. This hasp comes standard with a satin chrome finish to visually blend with the ABLOYŪ PL340/25 or PL 341/25 Maximum Security Padlock. The SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Hasp In-line (SO430) is designed for use in a flush mount application. This hasp comes standard with black finish electro-plating and pairs with either model of the SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Locks.
The SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Lock models feature the ABLOYŪ EXEC patent protected key system with the cylinder embedded in a solid, machined steel housing. The housing protects the concealed shackle and lock cylinder, with strength unmatched by other puck-style locks that use aluminum, die-cast zinc, or brass. SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Locks are easy to re-lock since the key is not required to do so. Simply push the cylinder into the lock body until securely latched. Either puck lock model can pair with both models of the SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Hasps.
The original SHUT-OUTŪ Puck Lock housing is constructed of cold-rolled steel and features black finish electro-plating providing resistance to physical attack and environmental conditions.
The SHUT-OUTŪ Heavy Duty Puck Lock housing is constructed of case hardened steel providing increased resistance to physical attack including drilling, sawing, and chopping. The enhanced electro-plating provides greater durability in harsh environmental conditions.
In the event of a physical attack or break in, most machines' bill acceptor stacker boxes offer little protection against access to the money. The SHUT-OUTŪ Shield provides a secure solution to this challenge. This product is designed to protect against unauthorized access to the lid of the bill stacker box. This product is easy to install and simple to use; no modifications are necessary. A chain accessory is available to ensure proper replacement of the SHUT-OUTŪ Shield.
The SHUT-OUTŪ Safeguard takes protection of cash assets a step further by protecting the merchandising plate above the face of the bill stacker and bill acceptor from being smashed. This product deters the "smash and grab" entry and further protects the bill validator from damage and costly repair or replacement. The SHUT-OUTŪ Safeguard provides for easy and quick installation with no redesign required.
