May 8, 2008, Turnersville, NJ .... CDM Electronics, Inc., a leading distributor of commercial and military (MIL-SPEC) interconnect products, and premier provider of military cable assemblies, today announced additional certifications to the IPC-WHMA-A 620 military standards and J STD-001 for soldering. The standards encompass requirements for acceptance for cable assembly and wire harness fabrication. "These certifications bring our total to twenty-two assemblers qualified for J-STD-001 soldering, and demonstrate our continued commitment to the highest quality for our military customer base...", stated Production Manager, Laurie Burger.

The training was performed by the American Competitiveness Institute (http://www.aciusa.org/) and was completed successfully by thirteen staff members who are now certified IPC Specialists. Those members include: Eric Bruninghaus, Marie Stadnick, Blanca Castro De Morales, Glenn Cippon, Beverly Trasatti, Barbara Negri, Melody Zippel, Deb Mastranduono, David Van Haitsma, Rebecca Bowman, Debbie Clifford, Pat Hyland, Paula Hearn.
