"Mapping Your Course to a Successful Workforce Plan" seminar hosted by the AWWA on May 29-30 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada will be led by Artis Dawson and Terry Brueck. The 2-day seminar will cover such topics as recruiting, retention, knowledge management, succession planning, and the generational and cultural differences occurring in today's workforce. It has been preapproved for 12 recertification credits by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
AWWA Seminar Explores How to Prepare for Workforce Shortage
(DENVER, CO) - Management personnel, human resource professionals and utility department directors will learn the necessary skills to create winning workforce plans for their utility at the "Mapping Your Course to a Successful Workforce Plan" seminar hosted by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) May 29-30 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The two-day seminar, led by Artis Dawson, former director of administration at East Bay Municipal Utility District in Oakland, Calif., and Terry Brueck, president of EMA, Inc., will cover such topics as recruiting, retention, knowledge management, succession planning, and the generational and cultural differences occurring in today's workforce. The seminar has been pre-approved for 12 recertification credits by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
