On May 20-22, Air and Waste Management Association will present "Indoor Air Quality: Concerns and Solutions", which will discuss potential regulatory developments, examine old and new drivers of indoor air quality problems, and take in-depth look at how poor indoor air can impact human health and performance. Conference will also examine how factors related to building durability can lead to air problems inside both residential and commercial structures.

Pittsburgh, PA (March 18, 2008) The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will present "Indoor Air Quality: Concerns and Solutions," May 20-22, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
"Air pollution is not just an outdoor phenomenon," said Adrianne Carolla, A&WMA Executive Director. "Poor indoor air quality magnifies health concerns and can be difficult to eradicate. This conference will give environmental professionals the opportunity to discuss these problems and to hear the latest proposed solutions and regulations."
"Indoor Air Quality: Concerns & Solutions" will discuss potential regulatory developments, examine old and new drivers of indoor air quality problems, and will take an in-depth look at how poor air indoors can impact human health and performance.
The conference will also examine how factors related to building durability - including structural materials, siting, building history, and outdoor environments - can lead to air problems inside both residential and commercial structures, and will explore advances in green building techniques that can help to mitigate these issues.
