The ChemQuest Group, Inc. Release date: March 20, 2008
Cincinnati, OH, March 20, 2008 - The ChemQuest Group, Inc. is proud to announce that it is now the exclusive licensee of the Adhesive Bonding Professional Training Course. Developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Material Science (Bremen, Germany), which is ISO 9001 certified. It will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of adhesive bonding technology. During the 5 days of lab and classroom instruction, attendees will gain a full understanding of the distinctive features of adhesive bonding and will, in the end, be able to carry out written and oral work instructions for adhesive bonding in a technically accurate manner.
The requirements on modern-day products and components are becoming increasingly crucial. Adhesive bonding technology is therefore assuming an ever more important position within industrial production. To assure maximum performance and reliability, critical bonding applications require trained adhesive bonding professionals! Classes have been held throughout in Europe for many years, as adhesive bonding standards there are more established and defined. Once ANSI accreditation is awarded to the certification body under ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 for the certification component in the United States, participants who have successfully completed the course will then be certified to have obtained the knowledge, skills and abilities to the United States component of these standards.
Participants who will benefit most from this training will be engineers, production supervisors, chemists/technicians, etc. who come from such disciplines as process/material engineering, technical service, product development and bonding operations/manufacturing. In the end, companies will get personnel trained through a state-of-the-art curriculum resulting in a solid knowledge base in adhesive bonding technology, which will ultimately be internationally harmonized and recognized.
The initial North American training class has been re-scheduled for July 14-18, 2008 in Raleigh, NC at the North Carolina State University. Other classes will be scheduled for later in 2008. On-site training sessions can also be conducted where there is enough in-house need for the benefits that this course delivers.
