As Vice President of Marketing & Members Programs, Lucinda A. Schofer will be responsible for daily operation of Member Programs Department, which handles majority of dues and non-dues revenue generating member programs and services, including membership/affiliate programs, strategic partnership programs, and Association's major conferences. Schofer has worked for American Chemistry Council for past 16 years, most recently as Director of Marketing.
NACD Appoints New Vice President, Marketing & Member Programs
The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) has appointed Lucinda A. Schofer as Vice President, Marketing & Member Programs, the Association announced today.
As Vice President of Marketing & Members Programs, Schofer will be responsible for the daily operation of the Member Programs Department. This department handles the majority of dues and non-dues revenue generating member programs and services, including membership/affiliate programs, strategic partnership programs, and the Association's major conferences. Schofer will report directly to the President and COO.
Schofer has worked for the American Chemistry Council for the past 16 years, most recently as Director of Marketing. In this role, she was responsible for the development and management of major conferences, network meetings, and workshops. She was also instrumental in the Association's sponsorship program and related activities. In addition, she directed ACC's product sales through an on-line Store to members and other audiences, specifically in the areas of economics, industry statistics, training, Responsible CareŽ, community outreach, emergency response, and compliance assistance.

Schofer's other roles for ACC included being responsible for the coordination of compliance assistance services for the Association. She also served as the staff manager for a training issues group and a transportation outreach program called TRANSCAERŽ.
Schofer holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of Maryland. She is married with three children and resides with her family in Bethesda, Maryland.
NACD and its more than 250 members have established themselves as leaders in health, safety, security, and environmental performance through implementation of the Responsible Distribution Process (RDP), established in 1991 as a condition of membership in NACD.
