Melville, New York. (March 26, 2008). MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. launched its largest Safety Products Catalog in company history. The new Safety Products Catalog has a total of 40,000 products representing a 50% increase in product SKU's since the company's 2005 catalog. The new catalog will also be sent to a customer base over 5 times larger than the customer base that received the 2005 catalog.
When asked what accounted for the tremendous success and growth of MSC's Safety Catalog, Erik Gershwind, MSC's Senior Vice President of Product Management & Marketing, stated, "We believe there are two key factors that account for the growth in our safety business.
