Press Release

Spiroflow Systems, Inc.

Release date: March 11, 2008

Spiroflow Line Of Bag Fillers Well Suited For Use With Any Kind Of Dry Product

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- A line of bag fillers from Spiroflow Systems, Inc. has been designed to accommodate any type of dry powder product being filled into 20 to 100 lb bags.

Robust and reliable, the Spiroflow line of four bag fillers can operate 24 hours a day, has a minimal number of moving parts for low maintenance and has easily adjustable controls and accommodate full management data for reliable operation and performance.

According to Spiroflow, for over 20 years the company has developed an extensive database of powder handling materials, giving the company the knowledge to meet most customer powder handling requirements.

The company encourages customers to test their product in Spiroflow's test facility before purchasing a bag filler to make sure the equipment matches the flow properties and output demand of the material being filled into the bags. Bag Filler Product Line Detailed

The Spiroflow line of bag fillers includes a Turbo Packer, an Impeller Packer, a Force Flow Packer and a Screw Packer.

The dust-free Turbo Packer is designed for 25 to 50 kg bags and offers high speed handling of a variety of material. With proven versatility and adjustability, the Turbo Packer comes with adjustable weight control with management data and is built for continuous 24/7 operation.

In contrast, the Force Flow Packer is designed to package a wide range of difficult powders and granular materials including coarse granular or heat sensitive products . The unit operates using fluidization principles in which the product flows in an upward air stream. During filling with the outlet valve in operation, the powder chamber is pressurized, forcing the fluidized material through the filling tube.

The design of the Impeller Packer allows packing of a wide range of ground rock and powdered mineral products into the valve bags. The simplicity of the design and operating procedures provide customers with a function and durable machine that can be operated by unskilled labor.

For low volume users, the Screw Packer can handle poor flowing materials that require the positive action of a powdered screw to perform the packing operation. An integral ribbon type agitator in the feed hopper ensures continuous discharge of the material into the feed screw, allowing the packing of a wide range of products with different flow properties.

Full Range of Options Available A variety of options provide the user with greater optional flexibility in their bag packing and filling solution. Options available include bulk storage hoppers, bag applications, feed systems and take off conveyors.
