Air and Waste Management Association has issued call for abstracts for 2008 Symposium on Air Quality Measurement Methods and Technology, to be held Nov 3-6, 2008 in Chapel Hill, NC. Conference will feature current advances in measurement technology covering all aspects of air quality, including ambient air, indoor air, point sources, and area sources. Both laboratory and field studies will be accepted. Abstracts are due July 11, 2008.
Air & Waste Management Association Calls for Abstracts on Air Quality Measurement Methods and Technology
Pittsburgh, PA (March 5, 2008) The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) has issued a call for abstracts for the 2008 Symposium on Air Quality Measurement Methods & Technology, to be held Nov. 3-6, 2008 in Chapel Hill, NC.
The conference will feature current advances in measurement technology covering all aspects of air quality, including ambient air, indoor air, point sources, and area sources. Both laboratory and field studies will be accepted.
Suggested topic areas for abstracts include: o vapor intrusion, indoor and odor air measurements o ambient air toxics, ozone and PAMS monitoring o results from major monitoring studies (e.g., Supersites, CCOS, CRPAQS) o greenhouse compounds related to climate change or agricultural operations o advances in stationary source measurements o coarse and fine particulate matter measurement methods o chemical speciation of particulate matter o mercury monitoring (source and ambient) o methodology advances in ambient monitoring o satellite, remote, and optical monitoring of pollution o advances in data quality assessment and quality assurance o continuous ambient monitoring methods o passive monitoring and measurements
