Scheduled for April 2 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. EST, webinar titled "Environmental Careers: A Path to Your Future," will help participants sort through opportunities that exist, and develop plan for obtaining employment in that area. It will consider jobs and qualifications, hiring trends in different regions, in-demand academic training, and anticipated employment trends, as well as salaries, information sources on job openings, and special hiring procedures for specific jobs.

Pittsburgh, PA (Feb.12, 2008) The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will offer "Environmental Careers: A Path to Your Future," an informational Webinar for those interested in pursuing careers in the environmental industry. The event will be held Wednesday, April 2 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST.
"There are so many options and possible career paths to consider in the environmental industry that it can be difficult for individuals to decide which is best suited to their talents," said Adrianne Carolla, Executive Director of A&WMA. "This Webinar will help anyone looking to enter the field sort through the many opportunities that exist, and develop a plan for obtaining employment in that area."
"Environmental Careers: A Path to Your Future" considers hot jobs and qualifications, hiring trends in different regions, in-demand academic training, anticipated employment trends, salaries, information sources on job openings, and special hiring procedures for specific jobs, including government positions.
Scheduled speakers include Rich Fiore of Search Consultants International, Houston, TX; Gale Hoffnagle, Senior Vice President of TRC Environmental, Windsor, CT; Grant Trump, President & CEO of ECO Canada; Meghan Roe, Manager of Environmental Health and Safety for PPG Industries' Coatings Division, Pittsburgh, PA; Nancy Pfeffer, President, Network Public Affairs, and Harry Klodowski, Esq., of Betts, Hull & Klodowski, LLC, Pittsburgh, PA.
Pre-registration is required. A&WMA will provide 50 complimentary sites for the Webinar. Sites in addition to those 50 are $50 each. There is no limit on the number of participants per registered site.
