Recognized as an innovator in the label manufacturing equipment supply, the Canadian company ETI Converting Equipment is launching a new press at the Drupa 2008.
First company to have introduced the in-line silicone and adhesive coating equipment for label printers, ETI's machine range will expand to offer an offset-flexo hybrid press.
Offset to flexo on the same station in less than 2 minutes will be possible on the Exagon-OM. Faster to set-up, less space and money consuming than the traditional tower/cassette system, the Exagon-OM platform has the ergonomic advantage of compatible sleeves for flexo and offset. The hard Alu-sleeve surface assures you no compromise on printing quality comparing to traditional composite fiber sleeves. Also available on the Exagon-OM, rotogravure, silk-screen, hot and cold foil units.
ETI Converting Equipment pursue the objective of offering innovative and efficient solutions to improve critical operations in the label manufacturing process. With the Cohesio and the Labeline, the main concern for label printers, reducing the production costs of the labels, is solved. Both machines are designed with silicon and adhesive coating capability. Those devices allow the printer to produce his own self-adhesive label stock, thus reducing by 30% to 70% the production cost of the labels.
