C&K Components

Release date: February 20, 2008

Lower cost products for ground use made to same exacting standards

C&K is now able to deliver a full range of high reliability rectangular connectors manufactured at its European Space Agency-approved production facility in Dole, France. The company is the only supplier of ESA-approved Micro D (MDM) and single in line microminiature (MTB1) devices. ESA-approved D subminiature versions are also available. The devices have been used in Worldwide Space projects and programs for several years in both standard and custom designed formats, and are now being made available for non-space applications.

High reliability and performance are of course essential in space applications which also require specialist stringent testing for outgassing and residual magnetism. However, other applications in sectors such as the military, aerospace and medical arenas also call for many of the same attributes. C&K is offering the full range of product with all the benefits and features that result from being manufactured at its ESA-approved production facility but without the extended special testing required for ESA applications. This results in a range of lower cost, high performance, high reliability connectors.

The range is suitable for board to board, board to cable, and cable to cable functionality. Custom designs and cable harnessing services are available.
