MSC/J&L Metalworking Release date: February 19, 2008
Melville, New York. (February 19, 2008). J&L Industrial Supply, an MSC Company, launched its largest metalworking catalog in company history. The new 2007 V76 J&L Metalworking catalog boasts over 100,000 SKU's, providing the most comprehensive metalworking resource in the industry.
New in the 2007 J&L catalog are a significant number of new brands and products, providing customers all of the top metalworking brands. The catalog will offer new product lines from Stanley, Stanley Proto, Blackhawk by Proto, SPI, Gibraltar, and NuLine. Additionally, the Kennametal catalog section offers a significant number of new products and a new layout that provides more product information and is easier-to-use. J&L's exclusive Hertel brand also has an expanded product offering featuring new Hertel indexable milling products. Customers receiving the J&L Metalworking catalog also received a 75-page supplemental Seco catalog featuring over 3,200 products.
As a result of the merger of J&L Industrial Supply and MSC Industrial Supply Company, J&L catalog customers will also receive enhanced fulfillment service. J&L customers will now receive product shipments from four customer fulfillment centers while enjoying the same cutoff times and rapid shipment. More fulfillment centers will mean increased product inventory and enhanced order fulfillment.
