NACD Member Companies Achieve On-Site RDP Verification The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) is pleased to announce that another group of 41 Regular Members and Chemical Handler Affiliates sites have successfully passed NACD's 3rd-cycle on-site Responsible Distribution ProcessSM (RDP) Verification, demonstrating their commitment to the implementation of RDP's environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.

Successfully demonstrating implementation of environmental, health, security, and safety (EHS&S) policies and procedures under RDP's Code of Management Practice to an independent third-party verifier has been a condition of membership in NACD since 1997. RDP Verification (RDPV) is required once every thirty-six months. These companies listed are the third group to go through RDPV in the 2007-2009 verification cycle.
"We're proud of our NACD member and Affiliate companies that demonstrate their commitment to and performance of environmental, health, safety, and security measures in the face of new industry challenges. Each RDP Verification conducted provides additional credibility to RDP and further recognition of NACD members as chemical industry leaders in EHS&S performance," stated NACD's President & COO Chris Jahn.
In keeping with RDP's goal for continuous improvement, significant enhancements were incorporated into this 3rd-cycle on-site RDP Verification process. RDP Verification is and has been management systems-based, and now also addresses operationally-based EHS&S issues applicable to the site being verified.
NACD's independent, third-party verifiers for this three-year RDPV cycle are Compliance Solutions Group LLC of Baton Rouge, LA, and Eagle Group USA, Inc., of Rochester Hills, MI. Verifications of NACD member companies are ongoing.
