Evapo-Rust Dipping Station at CastExpo '08 Provides De-Rusting Exhibition
Alsip, IL -- Daubert Cromwell, the leader in corrosion preventive packaging for metalworking industries, will put on daily demonstrations of Evapo-Rust de-rusting liquid using customers' actual castings and other metal parts they bring to CastExpo '08, set for May 17-20 in Atlanta. CastExpo is a one-of-a-kind exhibition event for metalworking industries and their suppliers.
Visitors to booth #1306 can soak their own rusted metal parts in Evapo-Rust, a non-toxic, water-based solution that removes surface rust without scrubbing. The odor-free, non-acidic reusable liquid eliminates the need for blasting, grinding or using harsh caustics and chemicals. Evapo-Rust's neutral pH formulation bonds and removes rust, yet doesn't affect metal compositions, plating or even non-oxide paint coatings. This unique solution can work in as little as 30 minutes for exhibition purposes, but may require 24 hours immersion for total rust removal.
Evapo-Rust is: Reusable - one gallon de-rusts approximately 300 lbs. of steel, or about 20 lbs. of dry rust Non-acid, non-caustic - neutral pH, so no special handling or protective apparel required Non-toxic, biodegradable - safe for the environment Easily disposable - spent solution can be disposed of safely down the drain, in most cases
