Release date: January 29, 2008

Colder Products Company Expands Fittings Product Line

Wider offering supports customers worldwide with fluid management solutions

St. Paul, Minn. - Jan. 29, 2008 - Colder Products Company has announced the addition of more than 100 new fittings to its current product offering of quick disconnect couplings and fittings. The expanded offering adds larger hose barb sizes, more material options and tube-to-tube reducers to its existing fitting line.

"We've added these products to meet our customers' requests for high-quality fittings for their applications," said Jim Brown, medical business unit manager, Colder Products Company. "This product line expansion is a terrific complement to the more than 7,000 different quick disconnect couplings and fittings we already provide."

Available in both white nylon and animal-free, natural polypropylene, these high-quality fittings have parting line-free, instrumentation-quality hose barbs. Colder fittings feature tapered 10-32 threads to aid in sealing, and a unique shrouded 1/16" hose barb to prevent breakage of polypropylene hose barbs, making them an ideal choice for both medical and instrumentation applications.

Colder Products Company, a world leader in the design and manufacture of quick disconnect couplings, will debut the expanded fittings line and other new products at MD&M West (Booth # 2115) at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, Jan. 29 to 31, 2008. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Colder experts and discuss the company's new high-quality fitting options for fluid handling needs.
