Elster Gas North America Appoints Director of Operations for Elster Meter Services
Elster Gas North America announces that John Hughes has been appointed Director of Operations for Elster Meter Services. Based in Cartersville, GA, Hughes will be responsible for managing all plant manufacturing operations for the refurbishment, repair and reverification of gas meters.
Hughes has a strong background in operations management, manufacturing, and supply chain management, SAP, MRP, Lean, and ISO 9001. Hughes has an MBA with Emphasis on Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of South Carolina Columbia, SC, a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, TN and is APICS-Basics of Supply Chain Management Certified.
