Press Release

LEESON Electric Corp.

Release date: October 15, 2007

High-Efficiency Reducers Added to LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors Gear Reducer Product Family

LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors has introduced three new gear product lines, including cast iron helical-inline, helical-worm and helical-bevel reducers. These product additions come to LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors as part of the Sales/Marketing merge with Grove Gear and Electra-Gear announced October 15, 2007. The IronMan TorquelineTM Hi-Efficiency Products recently released by Grove Gear with higher ratings and new products will be marketed through LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors.

With simple model number identification, in addition to industry "drop-in" mounting dimensions and robust features, the New Grove Gear IronMan TorquelineTM reducers are perfect replacements to many popular brand names, such as SEW, Nord and Dodge.

Grove Gear IronMan TorquelineTM helical-inline reducers are available in 9 sizes with ratios from 2.3 to 3300:1 and ratings exceeding 125HP. The helical-bevel reducers are available in 6 sizes with solid or hollow output shafts and ratios from 6-3300:1 with ratings exceeding 125HP. Four sizes of helical-worm reducers are available with solid or hollow output shafts and ratios from 7-3400:1 with ratings exceeding 15HP.

These three product types are available with foot or flange mounting and motorized or solid-shaft input designs. A rugged, yet modular design allows quick assembly from stock modules, allowing for quick shipment as replacements to popular brands. All product designs are also available with integral gearmotor configurations to 5HP and are easily modified to accommodate washdown features or special lube, paint and shaft specifications.

The seven sizes of LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors aluminum Lecentric helical-inline products offer a perfect compliment to the G rove Gear IronMan To rquelineTM products and will continue to provide greater design flexibility as a lightweight alternative to any cast iron inline reducer.

LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors and Grove Gear/Electra-Gear are headquartered in Grafton, Wisconsin, offering AC & DC motors, gear reducers, sub-fractional horsepower motors and gearmotors and AC/DC electronic drives. LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors and Grove Gear/Electra-Gear products are sold to original equipment manufacturers and distributors by a network of independent manufacturers' re p resentatives, sales offices and international agent distributors. LEESON Electric/Lincoln Motors and Grove Gear/Electra-Gear are subsidiaries of Regal-Beloit Corporation (NYEX: RBC).
