Fourstar Connections, Inc.

Release date: September 21, 2007

Hudson, MA- September 21, 2007 - Fourstar Connections, Inc. is a contract manufacturing organization servicing OEMs throughout North America. Their core competency includes: custom cable assemblies, mechanical sub-assemblies and turn-key box build assemblies. The products manufactured by Fourstar Connections are used in Medical, Homeland Security, Communication and Industrial applications.

They have over 50 years of complex wiring and mechanical assembly experience within the sales and engineering departments and take pride in their technical capability. "We often win new customers by helping them solve problems. Give us your most challenging cable assembly and we will find a solution to improve the design's manufacturability," says Phil Holman President & owner of Fourstar Connections. Fourstar demonstrated this capability with the redesign of a harness, wire run layout and bracket changes, for an industrial market segment OEM. The customer was experiencing mechanical and dimensional inconsistencies on a complex harness that slowed the assembly of the system and was contributing to latent failures. Fourstar proposed a solution to modify both the mechanical bracket and to reform the harness. This relieved stress on the electrical connections and the newly formed cable harness was easier to install into the system. The net result to their OEM customer was reduced manufacturing time and a quality improvement to the product at the system level.

Fourstar Connections, Inc. is located at 321 Central Street Hudson, MA. They are a contract manufacturing services provider with 28,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Hudson with affiliates in Mexico and China. The company is positioned to service your cable and electro-mechanical assembly requirements from NPI, through production manufacturing cycles.
