The deal is worth more than $2 million and involves the company-wide deployment of the application over two years.
The Clancy Group's current IT systems consist of separate applications either developed in-house or brought in from external providers. According to The Clancy Group's Financial Director, Chris Adkins, IFS was chosen over other ERP providers because IFS Applications addressed all of the company's requirements, including the timeframe for deployment.

Of critical importance to The Clancy Group will be IFS Applications' ability to provide full cost/value reconciliation, from tendering to invoicing, enabling the directors to measure profitability and receive detailed cost analyses by company, division and project -- right down to worker, in a timely and efficient manner. This will improve the budgetary process and allow a clear statement of the cash book position to be produced on-demand.
